How To Participate In Planned Safe Harbor Litigation

If you own residential property in Florida and want to join in litigation designed to secure “Safe-Harbor” protection for the refund of any unconstitutional ad valorem taxes paid by you, you need to:

• Please click "ATR" and fill out the Authority to Represent and Statement of Client’s Rights("ATR"), and then,

• Please click "Questionaire" and fill out the questionaire that contains essential information to permit us to include you in the "Safe Harbor" Litigation,

After these documents are filled out and have been signed by husband and wife, if the residence is jointly owned, please mail the completed and executed documents, along with your retainer fee of $500.00 to:

Douglas S. Lyons, Esq. Lyons and Farrar 325 N. Calhoun Street Tallahassee, Florida 32301

The check should be made payable to Lyons and Farrar, P.A. Trust Account.

The ATR will be signed by one of the attorneys for your legal team and electronically routed to you for your records.

Retainer:

The specified retainer of $500.00 represents a non-refundable retainer for legal services and costs. The particulars regarding this retainer are set out in the ATR. You will be exposed to no additional fees or costs unless you obtain a recovery as set forth in the ATR. Should you obtain a recovery, this retainer will be credited against fees and costs payable under the terms of the ATR.

In addition to including you by name in our on-going litigation your retainer will entitle you to a precise computation of your tax overpayment for the past four (4) years.

After you have established an attorney client relationship with your legal team, confidential material will be routed to you electronically and you will have access to other confidential information available for clients only from secured portals on this web site.

Other Participation:

If for any reason you do not wish to take advantage of the “Safe-Harbor” action outlined above, please click on the tab labeled “Other Participation.”
